area. Store materials per manufacturers recommendations and do not
exceed recommended shelf-life.

Improper Inspection

Do not exceed recommended maximum limits of repair. Use
recommended inspection methods.

Excessive Repair Flexing

Use correct procedures to install patch and to inflate tyre.
Avoid overloads.

Incorrect/Inferior Patch

Use only recommended brand, size and type of patch appropriate for
type/size of tyre and damage.

Inferior/Incorrect Materials

Use only high quality materials compatible with the patches and curing
system being use.

Insufficient Pressure

Use recommended repair equipment and pressures.

Overcure/Undercure

Keep to appropriate curing time and temperature.

Plug Failure

Use correct buffing procedures and cement build-up methods. Use
sufficient material.

Incorrect Patch Installation

Keep tyre beads in normal parallel position when installing patch. Stitch
down evenly and thoroughly to avoid trapped air.
