Contamination

Use only fresh materials. Maintain clean working habits and working
area. Store materials per manufacturers recommendations and do not
exceed recommended shelf-life.

Improper Cementing Procedure

Use recommended cement. Stir thoroughly before each use. Coverage
should be adequate and even. Allow enough drying time.

Incorrect Buffing

Maintain proper contours. Buff to even RMA 3 texture. Avoid overheating
rubber while buffing.

Incorrect Plug Build-up

Use recommended material and sufficient amount for build up. Do not
stretch rubber during use.

Incompatible Materials

Use only compatible cements and gums. Use materials appropriate for
the curing system being used.

Insufficient Pressure

maintain recommended constant pressure on repair during cure.

Overcure/Undercure

Use correct curing time and temperature appropriate for the repair and
as recommended for the curing system.

Patch Failure

Use recommended size and type of patch.

Trapped Air

Avoid air pockets by stitching material firmly and evenly. Use sufficient
material.
