We are continually monitoring developments with COVID-19 and taking all available guidance to ensure that our employees can work safely and our customers experience minimum disruption.
What measures are we taking?
We are consulting all available guidance from the World Health Organisation, British Government, States of Guernsey and the UK NHS. We have been working on and implementing business continuity plans to put us in the best position to support employees and customers.
Commitment and support for customers
We have implemented all government guidance and all possible precautions are in place to ensure we’re doing everything we can for prevention. We are working closely with our suppliers and distributors to minimise any potential disruption.
External communication to our customers and suppliers is under daily review and we will continue to communicate any relevant changes, as and when they occur, through updates on our website and directly via email and telephone.
Our Sales team will not be travelling until further notice, however they are readily available via telephone and email. We have always offered comprehensive technical support via remote communications so our team is well prepared to operate under these circumstances. Our Customer Care team is working with our freight partners to overcome any potential logistics challenges.
We are monitoring this situation very closely and are in daily communication with our freight forwarders. We will inform our customers as soon as we have any information that may affect the delivery of their orders or availability. There may be occasions where we experience some delays, but please be assured we will inform our customers of any issues as early as possible.
We have taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our employees by:
- Implementing a company-wide travel ban for all employees
- Encouraged self-isolation where relevant
- Request remote working whenever possible
- Elevated hygiene procedures
- There will be no external visitors – external meetings have been cancelled until further notice, to reduce the number of group gatherings
- All meetings are now taking place via video conferencing
- Increased internal communication to monitor and respond to COVID-19 developments
The status of COVID-19 is changing every day and we will continue to evaluate developments and implement best practices.
Our ongoing responsibility for the health and wellbeing of our employees does not affect our commitment to providing class-leading products and support to our customers. We will continue to work closely with our customers and suppliers to minimise any potential disruption to continuity of supply.
