COVID-19 – Our statement

We continue to monitor developments with COVID-19 and take all available guidance to ensure that our employees can work safely and our customers experience minimum disruption.

What measures are we taking?

Guidance

We are consulting all available guidance from the World Health Organisation, British Government, States of Guernsey and the UK NHS. We ​continue to follow our business continuity plans so we can provide:

  • A safe working environment for employees
  • The best possible service for our customers.

Commitment and support for customers

We have implemented all government guidance and take all possible precautions ​in order to provide a COVID-19 safe working environment. We are ​also working closely with our suppliers and distributors to minimise potential disruption.

External communication to customers and suppliers is under regular review. We will continue to communicate any relevant changes, as and when they occur, through updates on our website and directly via email, telephone and video call.

Our Sales team will not be travelling until further notice, however they are readily available via telephone, email and video. We have always offered comprehensive technical support via remote communications. Our team is well prepared to operate under these circumstances. Export developments

Our Customer Care team is working with our freight partners to overcome any potential logistics challenges.

Freight services worldwide are reduced. We are working with our network of freight forwarders to find the quickest and most cost effective freight routes.

We will inform our customers as soon as we have any information that may affect the delivery of their orders or product availability. ​To date we have experienced minimal delays but please be assured we will inform our customers of any issues as early as possible.

Employee wellbeing

We have taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our employees by:

  • Implementing a company-wide travel ban for all employees
  • Encouraged self-isolation and testing where relevant
  • Request remote working whenever possible
  • Elevated hygiene procedures
  • There will be no external visitors – external meetings have been cancelled until further notice, to reduce the number of group gatherings
  • All meetings are now taking place via video conferencing
  • Increased internal communication to monitor and respond to COVID-19 developments

The status of COVID-19 is changing every day and we will continue to evaluate developments and implement best practices.

Our ongoing responsibility for the health and wellbeing of our employees does not affect our commitment to providing class-leading products and support to our customers. We will continue to work closely with our customers and suppliers to minimise any potential disruption to continuity of supply.
