Back from the busy streets of Chennai – we had another exceptionally busy time at the TyrExpo India 2013 earlier this month. The number of visitors was up on the previous show two years ago, and made the risk of a bout of “Delhi-Belly” well worth it.

Always up for an adventure, both Matt and Andy always look forward to their trips to India – a market that the company sees as having huge potential for providing quality tyre repair services. Andy particularly relishes in the chance to experience a new culture. A change from his normal Aussie BBQ and beer sampling, the local spicy cuisine is always top of the list. Although a word of warning; some of the Indian brews sampled were a tiny bit stronger than back at home… resulting in some sore heads on setup day.

The show was a great success where new relationships were formed and existing ones strengthened. Seen as a particularly positive were developments made with our Indian agents Unipatch who have been busy spreading the word of Monaflex across India. They had arranged for numerous potential (and existing) clients to travel to Chennai to meet the team from Monaflex and see demonstrations on our stand.
With monsoon heavy rain experienced the whole week in India, it was quite something to return to the midst of a Heat Wave in the UK!
